Elora Clinic was born from years of curiosity, research, and care.
The story began in high school, when our founder,
Elora Ellis, joined the Chemistry Olympiad team
and started independent research that led to award-winning articles
on biodegradable plastics and graphene materials. These early
achievements cemented a deep commitment to science and innovation.
After moving to the United States, Elora continued her path as a
research assistant at Georgia Tech, gaining further
experience in advanced chemistry. In 2021, this foundation in
scientific inquiry evolved into the world of skincare formulations,
giving life to Elora Clinic.
At Elora Clinic, formulations are never rushed, mass-produced,
or trend-driven. Each product is handmade in our private lab,
using only purposeful ingredients—never cluttered with unnecessary fillers.
Our philosophy is simple:
science comes before marketing,
transparency before hype, and
purity before complexity.
The future of Elora Clinic is grounded in one principle:
science outlasts trends. While skincare fads
come and go, scientific discovery remains timeless.
Our mission is to become a powerhouse in innovation—advancing
formulations that not only transform skincare but may one day
contribute to breakthroughs in pharmaceutical and medical science.
Caffeine is one of my favorite ingredients in skincare, but I rarely find formulas
that focus on it intentionally without unnecessary additions. I wanted to create
a caffeine serum that felt clean, precise, and effective while remaining gentle
enough for daily use.
I chose a water-based formula so all skin types could use it comfortably, including
the delicate under-eye area. Hyaluronic acid was added in a carefully balanced
amount to maintain hydration without weighing the skin down.
After extensive testing, I finalized a caffeine concentration that delivers a
refreshed, energized look without irritation. This is a simple, focused formula
designed to help skin appear awake, smooth, and balanced.
For external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Ingredients are subject to change as we continue perfecting our formulation.
Please refer to your product packaging for the most accurate ingredient list. Packaging, bottle design, and label colors may also vary as we transition between designs.

All About Elora Clinic Caffeine Face Serum
EXPLORE THE FORMULA→
Elora Clinic Caffeine Face Serum is a 30 mL water-based facial serum formulated with caffeine, sodium hyaluronate, aloe vera, and glycerin, with a primary focus on de-puffing and lightweight hydration.
The formula is designed for people looking to address the appearance of puffy, tired-looking skin without relying on a heavy cream or oil-based treatment.
Its primary functions are De-Puffing · Hydration.
Why Elora Clinic Created This Formula
Puffiness and tired-looking skin can occur for many reasons, including temporary fluid accumulation, lack of sleep, environmental stress, and normal day-to-day changes in the appearance of the skin.
Elora Clinic Caffeine Face Serum was created as a focused caffeine treatment rather than an overloaded multi-active formula.
Caffeine provides the central identity of the serum, while sodium hyaluronate, aloe vera, and glycerin create a supporting hydration system.
This gives the formula two clearly defined purposes:
Caffeine → refreshed, less puffy-looking skin
Sodium Hyaluronate + Aloe Vera + Glycerin → lightweight hydration
The result is a simple water-based serum that can be incorporated into both facial and under-eye skincare routines.
The Featured Active: Caffeine
Caffeine is the defining active ingredient in Elora Clinic Caffeine Face Serum.
In topical skincare, caffeine is commonly incorporated into products intended for areas where the skin may appear puffy or tired.
This makes caffeine particularly relevant to under-eye skincare, although its cosmetic use does not have to be limited exclusively to the eye area.
Elora Clinic therefore formulates Caffeine Face Serum as a facial serum with under-eye application potential, rather than positioning it only as a traditional eye cream.
The goal is a lightweight treatment that can be applied where temporary puffiness or a fatigued appearance is a concern.
Caffeine and Under-Eye Puffiness
The eye area is one of the places where temporary puffiness can be especially noticeable.
This is why caffeine has become closely associated with under-eye skincare.
However, it is important to distinguish between cosmetic improvement in the appearance of puffiness and treating an underlying cause of persistent swelling.
A topical caffeine serum is a cosmetic product. It is designed to support the appearance of the skin; it is not intended to diagnose or treat medical causes of swelling or persistent under-eye changes.
That distinction is an important part of understanding what a caffeine serum can realistically do.
What About Dark Circles?
“Dark circles” are not a single skin condition.
Their appearance can be influenced by several factors, including pigmentation, visible vascular coloration, shadows created by facial anatomy, skin thickness, and puffiness.
Because of this, caffeine should not be presented as a universal solution for every type of dark circle.
For someone whose under-eye appearance is strongly influenced by temporary puffiness and tired-looking skin, caffeine may be particularly relevant within the routine.
Pigmentation-focused concerns, however, may require a different skincare strategy.
This is why Elora Clinic separates puffiness, hydration, pigmentation, and skin-barrier concerns rather than treating every under-eye concern as interchangeable.
The Hydration System
Caffeine is only one part of the finished serum.
Elora Clinic Caffeine Face Serum also incorporates Sodium Hyaluronate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, and Glycerinto create its hydration system.
Sodium Hyaluronate
Sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt form of hyaluronic acid.
It functions as a humectant, helping support hydration at the surface of the skin.
Its inclusion allows the Caffeine Face Serum to combine its de-puffing focus with lightweight hydration rather than leaving caffeine as the only functional component of the formula.
Aloe Vera
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice forms part of the aqueous foundation of the serum.
It complements the lightweight nature of the formula and contributes to its hydration-focused profile.
Glycerin
Glycerin is another humectant incorporated into the formula.
Together, glycerin and sodium hyaluronate help establish a water-based hydration system around the featured caffeine active.
How the Formula Is Structured
The formula can be understood in four functional groups.
Featured active: Caffeine.
Hydration system: Sodium Hyaluronate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, and Glycerin.
Formula support: Tetrasodium EDTA.
Preservation system: Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, and Sorbic Acid.
This structure keeps the formula relatively streamlined.
Rather than combining caffeine with numerous unrelated headline actives, the formulation gives caffeine a clear role while surrounding it with ingredients necessary for hydration and proper formulation.
This distinction matters because puffiness and dehydration are not the same concern.
A person can experience temporary puffiness while the surrounding skin still benefits from hydration. Combining the two ingredients therefore allows the serum to address the appearance of puffiness while maintaining a lightweight hydrated skin feel.
Is This Only an Eye Serum?
No.
Elora Clinic Caffeine Face Serum is formulated as a face serum, although the under-eye area is an important application area because of caffeine’s association with puffiness-focused skincare.
It can therefore fit into a broader facial routine rather than requiring consumers to treat it exclusively as an eye product.
Care should always be taken around the eyes. Avoid direct contact with the eyes themselves.
When Should You Use Caffeine Serum?
Caffeine serum can be incorporated into either a morning or evening skincare routine, but it has a particularly logical place in a morning routine for temporary puffiness or tired-looking skin.
A simple routine could follow this order:
Cleanse → Caffeine Face Serum → Moisturizer → Sunscreen
Because the serum is water-based and lightweight, it would generally be applied before heavier creams or facial oils.
For under-eye use, only a small amount is necessary. Apply gently rather than aggressively rubbing the delicate eye area.
Can Caffeine Serum Be Used on the Entire Face?
Yes. A caffeine facial serum does not inherently need to be restricted to the under-eye area.
Someone experiencing a generally puffy or tired-looking facial appearance may choose to distribute the serum more broadly across the face.
This is one reason Elora Clinic positions this product as Caffeine Face Serum rather than limiting its identity to an eye serum.
Its aloe vera, glycerin, and sodium hyaluronate system also makes hydration part of the broader facial formulation.
Who Is Elora Clinic Caffeine Face Serum Designed For?
This serum is designed for someone looking for a lightweight, water-based caffeine treatment with additional hydration support.
It may be particularly relevant when the skincare goal includes:
temporary under-eye puffiness
puffy-looking facial skin
tired-looking skin
lightweight hydration
a caffeine-focused morning routine
hydration without a heavy oil-based texture
Someone whose primary concern is pigmentation, intensive barrier repair, retinoid-based renewal, or oil-based nourishment may instead benefit from a formula specifically designed around that goal.
What Makes Elora Clinic Caffeine Face Serum Different?
The formula has a clearly defined ingredient hierarchy.
Caffeine is the featured active.
Sodium hyaluronate, aloe vera, and glycerin provide hydration support.
Tetrasodium EDTA supports the formulation.
Phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, and sorbic acid form the preservation system.
That makes the product easy to understand within a larger skincare routine: it is fundamentally a caffeine + hydration serum, rather than an everything-in-one treatment.
